Sapphire Beach Club Resort, Cupecoy (Sint Maarten)

My experience at this hotel was far from what I hoped for. While the staff was polite and accommodating, the condition of the hotel left a lot to be desired. The location was not ideal, and there really aren't many amenities available, which made my stay quite frustrating. It's not somewhere I would recommend or return to anytime soon.

The resort has some nice features, including a great swimming pool and good restaurant options at reasonable prices. However, the property is quite old and in need of updates, and it's not directly on the beach, requiring a mile walk to get to the shore. Wi-Fi is free, and there are convenient supermarket and restaurant options nearby, but the lack of transport to the beach and the need to rent chairs and umbrellas is a downside.

I had a good time at Sapphire Beach Club despite some ongoing recovery from Hurricane Irma. The rooms are spacious and clean, but some maintenance issues need attention. The location is fantastic with an ocean view, and the pool area is lovely. However, the dining options were limited and not very diverse. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you're looking to relax, though some improvements are needed.
